About the practice
Relationship and family experiences can be complex. They are shaped by personality, communication, history, culture, faith, expectations and the circumstances of everyday life.
International online

Our approach combines professional counselling, structured assessment, research-informed tools and personalised relationship guidance to help clients better understand their circumstances and identify practical pathways toward personal and relationship wellbeing.
Services are available for:
- Individuals
- Couples
- Families
- Groups
- Premarital couples
- Couples experiencing relationship difficulties
- Families navigating change or conflict
- Clients seeking online support across the Southern African region and internationally, where appropriate
The aim is not simply to identify problems, but to foster stronger, healthier and more meaningful relationships and wellbeing.
Professional. Personalised. Context-aware.
Every person, couple, and family brings a unique story. Relationship wellbeing is shaped not only by individual experiences, but also by family, cultural, spiritual, and social contexts.
Our approach seeks to understand each client within their own context, while providing professional, respectful, and personalised support.
- Faith-sensitive
- Recognising that faith, spirituality, beliefs, values, and religious practices may influence relationships, identity, decisions, and wellbeing.
- Culturally responsive
- Taking into account cultural values, family structures, traditions, communication styles, gender expectations, and community influences.
- Non-judgemental
- Creating a respectful space where clients can explore faith, culture, relationships, and personal concerns without fear of judgement or pressure to adopt the counsellor’s own beliefs.
- Context-aware
- Recognising that the same relationship or family concern can have different meanings and implications across cultural, faith, family, and social contexts.
- Individualised
- Tailoring support to each client’s experiences, needs, values, beliefs, cultural background, and circumstances.
- Research-informed
- Drawing on structured assessment tools and evidence-informed relationship approaches to support professional understanding, meaningful exploration, and personalised recommendations.
Statement of faith and values
Good Passion Care is led by counsellors who are committed Christians. Our Christian faith and beliefs shape our understanding of marriage, family, relationships and personal conduct, and they guide the moral viewpoint from which we practise. We tell you this openly so that you can make an informed choice about whether our service is right for you.
Our faith does not replace professional practice. Counselling is provided in line with recognised counselling theories, structured assessment, professional ethics and the requirements of the law. We welcome clients of all faiths and of none. We will not require you to share our beliefs, and we will not pressure you to adopt them. Faith-based perspectives, such as prayer or Scripture, are brought into sessions only when you ask for them or agree to them.
Sometimes your goals or values may differ from our own in a way that could affect the guidance we give. When that happens, we will tell you honestly. Where it is appropriate, we will help you find a referral to another professional who may suit you better.
If you have any questions about how our faith may influence your counselling, please raise them during your free 20-minute consultation, before you commit to any sessions.
